Privacy Policy

1. Our approach to privacy

WellKept Pet is a pet care tracker operated by Arc Digital LLC ("Arc Digital," "we," "our," or "us"), a software company based in the United States. It was built privacy-first: your pets and their records live on your device and sync only through your own private iCloud. Arc Digital does not collect, store, or have access to your personal information or your pets' records. This policy explains what that means in practice.

2. Information we collect

Arc Digital collects no personal information. WellKept Pet has no accounts, no sign-up, and no Arc Digital servers. Everything you enter — pet profiles, medications, vaccines, feedings, weight, vet contacts — is stored locally on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, synced to your private iCloud account. We cannot see, access, or retrieve any of it.

We do not collect analytics, usage data, advertising identifiers, or location data. We do not use cookies or tracking technologies. We do not maintain logs of your activity.

3. iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, WellKept Pet uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data across your own devices through your private iCloud database. This data is handled by Apple under your iCloud account and Apple's terms; Arc Digital has no access to it and receives nothing from it. You can review Apple's privacy practices at apple.com/legal/privacy. Sync requires no action from us and involves no Arc Digital infrastructure.

4. In-app purchase

WellKept Pet is free for one pet. A one-time purchase unlocks unlimited pets and PDF history export. There is no subscription.

When you make this purchase, Apple processes the payment through your Apple ID; Arc Digital never receives or stores your payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage the purchase and the "restore purchase" function. To do so, RevenueCat and Apple process a non-identifying purchase identifier and your transaction and entitlement status. This is the only personal data any third party handles on our behalf, and it relates solely to the purchase — never to your pets' records. 5. What we never do

We do not sell or share your personal information. We do not serve advertisements. We do not profile you or use your data for targeted advertising. We have no ability to do any of these things, because we never receive your data in the first place.

6. Your data and your rights

Your data is yours and it stays with you. You can view, edit, or delete any of it at any time within the app, and you can erase everything from your device and iCloud using Settings → Data & Sync → Delete All Data, or by deleting the app. Because your records never leave your device and iCloud, data access and portability are inherent — you always hold the only copy.

Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state laws (including in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and others) grant rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Because Arc Digital does not collect, store, sell, or share your personal information, there is no data on our side to act on — but if you believe we hold anything about you, or have any question about these rights, contact us at the address below and we will respond consistent with applicable law.

7. Children's privacy

WellKept Pet is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — including children. If you have questions about this, contact us at the address below.

8. Security

Your data is protected by your device's security and, for sync, by Apple's iCloud encryption. Because there is no Arc Digital server holding your information, there is no central store for us — or anyone else — to breach. No system is perfectly secure, but keeping your data on your own device and private iCloud removes the largest risks of a server-based service.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and note the change in the app. Your continued use of WellKept Pet after a revised policy takes effect constitutes acceptance of the changes.
